Shipping Update

We've now shipped pre-orders to backers in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, United Kingdom and USA. If you live in one of these countries and haven't received your order yet it's possible that you may not have completed your shipping survey. We would recommend checking your email for the survey—if you're unable to locate this please email us on [email protected] for further assistance.

For backers in all other countries we are happy to let you know that we'll start shipping from next week, with shipping beginning from December 9th. It's worth checking your shipping survey to make sure that your shipping details are up to date so that your order is shipped to the correct place. If you require any assistance with updating your address please email us on [email protected] and our team will be able to assist. We will lock addresses and surveys for these orders on Wednesday December 7th at 12AM GMT, so please ensure that your address is correct by this time.

Bluetooth 5.3 Audio Transmitter

Unfortunately we have experienced some additional delays with our manufacturing partner and may not begin shipping these until mid-late December. We have a small quantity that we will begin to ship in Australia and New Zealand from next week, with all other locations starting to ship in mid December. We really appreciate everyone's patience with these and we'll post another update in the middle of December to let all backers know how these are coming along.

 NuraTrue Pro Shipping Update 

We currently have stock available for fulfilment for customers in Australia, UK and Europe, but our shipping partner experienced a small delay with dispatching our orders due to some changes around battery regulations, which is why some customers in these locations have received their pre-orders and some have not.

This delay pertains to a battery label which is required to be affixed to the box for shipping, and we have a batch of new labels on the way to the warehouses arriving later this week/start of next week which will resolve this issue—we are doing our absolute best to work with our shipping partner to resolve this as quickly as possible.

• For customers in Australia: shipping should resume on either Friday this week or Monday.
• For customers in Europe: shipping should resume from next Wednesday.
• For customers in the UK: shipping should begin Thursday this week.
• For customers in West Coast USA: shipping should begin Friday this week.
• For customers in East Coast USA and rest of world: shipping should begin in the last week of November/first week of December.

Once our shipping partner has resumed shipping it may take a couple of days for your particular order to ship. Each location has somewhere between 1000-2000 orders to prepare, pack and ship, and it is not possible for our shipping partner to ship all orders in one day. We ask that you allow from the dates above around one week for your order to process and ship.

Update on shipping

This month is the month! We're very excited to let everyone know that we'll be shipping your NuraTrue Pro in the coming weeks. All earbuds will have left the factory by the end of the week and will be on their way to local warehouses around the world, sent by air-freight to get them into your hands as soon as possible. If you haven't received your shipping survey yet, please contact us at [email protected], and our Customer Experience Experts will happily assist. The pallet to Australia has already arrived and will be dispatched over the next couple of days, followed by UK and EU next week, then US and rest-of-world the following week.

Small delay for Nura Bluetooth 5.3 Audio Transmitter

Despite our best efforts, the Bluetooth 5.3 Audio Transmitters aren't quite ready yet. We expect them to be ready towards the end of the month. We are aware that everyone is extremely eager to get your hands on your NuraTrue Pro, so we have decided to get those out to you as quickly as possible and send the transmitters separately later this month. If you expect your shipping address to change by then, please contact us at [email protected] so we can update your details accordingly.

TIDAL Hi-Fi Plus for all Kickstarter Backers

We didn't want to end on bad news.

As teased last month, we're excited to announce that we've partnered with TIDAL so you can experience lossless audio on your new lossless earbuds. We are giving our backers 90-days of TIDAL Hi-Fi Plus for free. TIDAL Hi-Fi Plus is perfect to complement your new NuraTrue Pro, with access to TIDAL's Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) audio, the best quality available of all streaming platforms. It's been a busy month. Production is up and running, although slower than expected having run into a few production issues that has limited our capacity over the past couple of weeks. We're happy to let you know that these issues have since been resolved.  

Our production engineers, quality staff and line workers are currently enjoying some much-deserved time off the National Day holiday, and we expect production to resume at full speed when they return to work on October 4.

We've assembled 600 units to date, which is a few thousand units behind what we had planned to have produced by now.  While some of you may still receive your NuraTrue Pro towards the end of October as initially anticipated, unfortunately most of you will be receiving them in November instead.

We have also been hard at work teeing up some extra goodies to enable you to get the most out of your NuraTrue Pro when it arrives. We can't give away too much right now, but we want to make sure that everyone who has a set of lossless earbuds have a way to stream lossless audio ;) More on this next month...

IFA Berlin 2022

We attended IFA Berlin 2022 last month and publicly demoed lossless audio for the first time. We've been absolutely thrilled by the reception so far and can't wait for you to also be able to experience the future of wireless audio!

We're happy to share that we were included in the International Business Times IFA 2022 Top Ten Picks and you can read about NuraTrue Pro and some other great devices here.

CanJam SoCal 2022

We also sent Jono (CPO) and Dean (Customer Experience) to Irvine, California in September where we had a booth at CanJam SoCal 2022. This was a great opportunity to show lossless audio on NuraTrue Pro to a very discerning audience over the two days, and we were absolutely blown away by the response. On top of this, we would like to thank those of you who were able to make it down and say "hi" - it's always extremely humbling to meet the people who have helped make our dreams a reality and can't be more thankful for your support!

We've had a busy month and we are pleased to say that we have wrapped up our pre-production build and external beta testing—a big thank you to all of those involved who were able to help us out!

We're incredibly excited to let you know that we will begin mass production next week! It will take a week or two to get up to full production speed where we'll be able to make hundreds of NuraTrue Pros per day, but it's looking like we are well on track to be shipping pre-orders in Q4 as expected.

You might be wondering what the blue wrist-straps are for! These are known as ESD straps, or Electrostatic Discharge straps, and prevent static shocks from damaging sensitive components during the assembly process.

In other news, we're still hard at work putting the finishing touches on the firmware at our HQ in Melbourne, Australia, and testing aptX Lossless with a number of phones: ASUS ROG6, ASUS Zenfone 9 and a Motorola Edge 30 Pro. A few people have been asking us about phones that are compatible with aptX Lossless, so we've prepared an article on our support site that provides some guidance. We will be adding to the list as more handsets become available and you can view the article here here.

Can't wait to hear lossless audio on NuraTrue Pro? If you're lucky enough to be attending IFA in Berlin this weekend you'll have the opportunity to try lossless audio on the NuraTrue Pro, and maybe even meet our CEO and co-founder Luke Campbell. You can try this at the Qualcomm stand, check IFA's website here for the location.

If you're in the US we will have our own booth at CanJam in California on September 16th and 17th where you will be able to try lossless audio on NuraTrue Pro. You can also try some of our other devices, including the Nuraphone.
